What makes Jesus special(read description)?
It is written that he died on the cross for the sins of mankind, and that he performed miracles, but how do we know that any of this actually happened? It's one thing to say something, and another for it to be true. The Iliad is written as a poem, but in a historic way. So is the entire bible. Both were considered religious texts, but we know that there was no demigod named achilles, and paris never picked the prettiest goddess. Even if the battle of troy happened, it's been mythologized to the point that it's account is fictitious. But why should i not treat it to the same standard as the account of Jesus? I'm sorry but Jesus' divinity is not anymore proven than Achilles'.
