When you say "belief in Jesus" what does that mean exactly?

Belief in Jesus is the belief that He is the incarnation of God and that He did die for the sins of the world. This is what most believers mean by that phrase. Obviously there is more to salvation than simply an intellectual affirmation of Jesus' divinity, but most Christians believe that is an important part to salvation.
